The First Hickup
Mayday! An almost general consensus today in choir practice confirmed that the choir performance will be changed to the 17th of December as opposed to the 10th. Obviously this poses a huge issue - I've been practicing with them for a while. But... we'll see what happens. I may just end up having to quit the choir. The tenor section is rather strong after-all, but I just thought I'd let you guys know my situation.Putting this out out there: Does anyone (anyone at all) have any cool things they've done on their way down to (or in) California that they would like to share with our group of insane travellers?

Alright. well, to quit choir now would mean that all the time and effort you put into it would all have been a waste of time.[minus of course the fun and enjoyment I'm guessing you had]My advice would be to stick with it although of course that's your own decision. What do you guys think of this: Leaving on the 17th after Codes performance. Driving all night through the boring states anyways [take no offense north and south dakota, but it's true...] then doing all that we possibly can and arriving home on the 24th in the afternoon so we can have all evening with family for christmas. [we have our family christmas on the 24th.] It's worth a shot. We'll have a good idea how long it'll take us to get home once we're in california, and we may only have a day or 2 there, but I think it could work. Let me know what you think!
don't give up on the 16th yet.
This thought just crossed my mind...we should try to appear on 'The Price is Right'!!!! How insanely awesome that would be!!! haha, buuuut I don't think we would have enough time. But still. It's fun to think about. :)
I would make a 'Canada loves Bob' T-shirt.
brilliant adam! some shirts would be amazing!!!
Hahaha, YEAH it would be!! Alright, I have some news that is bitter sweet to the ears. It saddens me to inform you that we lost our 4th member of our road trip. My brother has decided to become a matadore in spain so now he cannot join us on our road adventures.
He actually just doesn't really want to come anymore so he declined the incredible trip of a lifetime, HOWEVER...[this is the sweet part]I have someone who is seriously considering coming. Her name is naomi and she's only the most outrageously amazing personl you'll ever meet!! She's just making sure funds and whatnotall will all jive and she's in! She's an incredible girl from carman [living in winnipeg now] and is so awesome beyond words. Seriously...so I'll keep you posted on that agenda. She's really outgoing, funky, musical, and she loves the beachboys. HELLO!! That's insentive enough!
Emm, hey guys. Last time I drove to Cali, we stopped to see the giant, ugly, farting, burping, plugged-drainy-sounding Elephant Seals and it was the time of my life. Somewhere south of the redwoods.
